I'd rather ponder on these happy "ponderisms" than the long list of things for which I am not happy:
Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they used to?
Who was the first person to look at a cow and say, 'I think I'll squeeze these dangly things and drink whatever comes out?'
Do illiterate people get the full effect of Alphabet Soup?
Does pushing the elevator button more than once make it arrive faster?
If Jimmy cracks corn and no one cares, why is there a song about him?
How about: If no one is home, then why are the lights on? Like the cow one, I've always wondered who/how in hell did anyone figure out the way to eat a lobster? My all time favorite that I really ponder every once in awhile is if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, is does it make a sound? Of course, I'm still on the time zones thing trying to figure out which way the world is spinning!
ReplyDeleteThe time zone dilemma keeps cropping up. I had someone else bring up the topic RECENTLY! It is the discussion that will never die, and it's one I still can't wrap my brain around.
